PDX Dyke Paddle // July 20th, 2024
It’s the inaugural PDX Dyke Paddle by LLB Productions!
Bring your paddleboard, kayak, canoe, or other super gay watercraft and meet us down by the river on Saturday afternoon to get out on the water and show our pride before the Portland Dyke March. Don’t want to paddle? That’s cool too! We will be chilling on the beach before and after the paddle with tunes, games and tie-dye.
This is an inclusive Sapphic space and everyone who feels at home under the dyke rainbow is welcome.
Paddle Route: We will launch at 3:00pm from Poet’s Beach (under the Marquam Bridge) and paddle north on the Willamette to the Morrison Bridge (Waterfront Park) and then back to Poet’s Beach.
Where: Poet’s Beach
Under the Marquam Bridge on the west side of the Willamette River.
When: Sat July 20th, 2024 2pm - 5pm
We will launch the paddle at 3:00
This event is free to attend. LLB Towels will be available to purchase and tie-dye, or you can bring your own light colored fabric item.
